About the author

Escobar Walker is the author of contemporary British fiction. His first novel BOWLING BALL was shortlisted for the Dundee International Book Prize 2004 and Brit Writers Awards 2011, and also long-listed for the US Amazon Breakthrough Author Awards 2012. His third novel I HATE MY JOB, IT SUCKS was released to critical acclaim in 2015.

Described in the British press as "Irvine Welsh after five Viagra tablets and fourteen pints of fermented liquid freshly squeezed from an alcoholics colostomy bag" - Escobar's prose have been described as both "closer to the bone than the flesh eating killer bug" and "more painfully realistic than a cotton bud pushed right up the readers urethra".
